St. Louis, Missouri - April 9, 2009 – Due to scheduling conflicts the time of the free master classes at the Greater St. Louis Jazz Festival will change in the Lee Theater at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 18.
The master classes led by the world-renowned educators will go on as planned, however Jon Faddis' master trumpet class will now take place from 12 p.m.-12:45 p.m. Faddis is one of the world's greatest jazz trumpeters. Two-time Grammy Award winning drummer Peter
Erskine's master drum class will take place
from 12:45 p.m.-1:30 p.m. on the same day.
Master Classes: April 17-18
- Friday, April 17
12-1 p.m.: Master Drum Class with Peter Erskine
- Saturday, April 18
12-12:45 p.m.: Master Trumpet Class with Jon Faddis
12:45-1:30 p.m.: Master Drum Class with Peter Erskine
The three classes are a part of the Greater St. Louis Jazz Festival that takes place at the Touhill Performing Arts Center on the University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL) campus. The event is presented by UMSL in association with Contemporary Productions.
